Why!?

Was my first thought when I heard the news on www.totalrock.com (great online radio btw, check it out) and confirmed by written sources.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Creed hater. I don’t hate bands, but I didn’t dislike Creed either. In fact I’ve bought  ’Human Clay’ and I loved it.  But I like Alter Bridge so much better.

Today tho, another Human Clay alike album would probably not end up  in my collection. I’ll check it out of course, I’ve just outgrown it. We all like a bands/artists a lot less now than we used to so many years ago don’t we?

A new Alter Bridge album tho would be very welcome. If I recall correctly Mark Tremonti, guitarist in both bands hinted that a more Metal, Trashmetal to specific act on his behalve is something he thinks about. Mr. Tremonti beeing on of my favorite axe players makes more in favor of that option instead of a Creed ‘WHY?’ Reunion.

Yo, so finally a blog is hosted on this domain…

I’ve been meaning to code one from scratch to hone my skills, after all I am a PHP Developer.  But as you can see, this is a WordPress. I’ve already started development on my homegrown blog application using CodeIgniter, which I enjoyed most fooling around with trying Zend Framework, CakePHP, etc… but I’ve haven’t spent as much time on it as I wish I have. Mostly because coming home from a day of work doing programming, programming is one of the last things I’d do.

This of course, is just a placeholder blog till I get around finishing a basic blog application of my own.

The main focus of this blog will be music, rock & metal specifically, but not exclusively as topics as web and other development, IT in general and ‘life’ will also make their way to this blog.
